Hello there! A few weeks ago, in order to customize my DNS records, I was told that I needed to host my DNS to a 3rd party provider such as CloudFlare because my provider does not accept custom DNS records (required for my Mailgun account). Everything seemed to be working fine until I brought X Theme into the mix two days ago (which I know that I will love if only I can get past this issue). Anyway, I began work on my site, every 10 minutes or so, an error message pops up that says something went wrong in the front end, causing any progress I made to go unsaved. The page then displays the 521 error message shown here: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200171916-Error-521-Web-server-is-down. It was suggested to me that I disable SSL and see if it helps, but it only made things worse, as now my site seems to have lost all of its formatting. I then re-enabled the SSL option in Cloudflare, thinking that would at least correct the formatting issue, but it did not. I then uninstalled and reinstalled X Theme, but the formatting is still very, very wrong. I read a post about Cornerstone issues with Cloudflare here: https://xthemeusers.com/tutorial/fixing-cornerstone-cloudflare-related-issues/. I also see quite a few similar posts in this support forum, but the truth is, if you haven’t already figured out, I am very tech-challenged
and therefore not confident that I can troubleshoot this without making matters worse. What can I do?! Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Marissa

Hi Marissa,
Thanks for writing us.
You must disable the optimization for specific URLS like example.com/cornerstone, example.com/x, or custom example.com/myslug if you have customized the URL slug in Admin > Pro or X > Settings.
You can also try by Disabling Cloudflare features on admin pages of WordPress,
you can get more help from this https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169526-Disabling-Cloudflare-features-on-admin-pages-for-content-management-systems-like-WordPress
There are other possible reasons for the issue and can help after having look into your site.
Please provide the details of your site in a secure note, including:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP/CPanel Credentials
– ClouldFlare login credentials
