Cornerstone (2.1.7) not working after update Wordpress 4.9.2

Hi guys.

I would like to reopen a topic on Cornerstone issues following the update of Wordpress 4.9.2 and the update of Theme X 5.2.1.

Since the update, I no longer have the opportunity to use Cornerstone to edit my posts. When I view my articles, the columns are no longer displayed, the revolution sliders are no longer displayed. Instead, layout codes (such as [/ vc_column] [/ vc_row] [vc_row no_margin = “true” padding_top = “0px” padding_bottom = “0px” border = “none”] [vc_column fade_animation_offset = “45px” width = “1/4”]) are visible in the article.

I do not think I have any compatibility problem with my other pluggins. I checked and I have the latest versions for all my extensions, my theme, and wordpress. This problem is very annoying, since it impacts already published articles. It does not allow me to add other articles, disorganises my site and has a real negative impact on my visitors.

I’m really sorry guys, i’m an idiot. WP Bakery plugin was disabled. it was as stupid as that. sorry for the inconvenience gentlemen. good luck.

Hi there,

The [vc_ …] shortcodes are for the WP Bakery plugin and you are correct to enable it to render the shortcodes. Please also consider that once you created a page using the WP Bakery then you will not be able to use Cornerstone anymore on that specific page and vice versa.
