Cornerstone 2.1.3 Options: 'navbar' doesn't respect weight, spacing slider missing

Hi, just noticed that since updating to 2.1.3 my menu font is very thin - it used to be a heavier weight. Went into Options to check it out and have noticed that switching the font weight does nothing for my menu (Lato).

Also, the slider to switch spacing has disappeared even though the label for it is there.

EDIT: thought I’d fixed the weight thing by turning Font Manager off and on again, but was mistaken.

The weight of the menu text only changes if I change the Heading font weight in Typography. The switch for changing navabr weight independently doesn’t seem to do anything.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! It seems that you are using WP Rocket. After making sure of your settings in the theme options, X > Launch > Options, you will still have to clear the plugin cache before you can test the site. WP Rocket is displaying a cache version this is why, you settings does not taking effect on the front end.

Moreover, I also noticed that you are using SiteGround. Please clear the site cache first or temporarily disable the supercacher in your hosting panel? The SuperCacher is developed by SiteGround exclusively for their customers. It increases the number of hits a site can handle and boosts the website loading speed. The SuperCacher includes 4 different caching options for maximum optimization of your websites. You can access the tool by clicking on the SuperCacher icon in your cPanel. For more information about this, please check it out here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/supercacher/supercacher_intro.htm

Hope this helps.

Nope, Rocket is not why my fonts are not respecting the weight setting, because I am repeatedly emptying the cache or even turning it off trying to make the latest Cornerstone work. Furthermore, as mentioned, the font weights DO respect the button under Typography, and the changes appear live in the preview. It’s just the button in the Navbar section that doesn’t seem to work, either on the front end or in preview, with Rocket on or off. It seems very much like a bug.

If you think that Siteground caching is affecting selected buttons in the Options, well I’ll try turning that off and see what happens, but it seems odd that it’s selective!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in!

I have made a comparison between the actual site and Lato font test specimen.

They look the same to me. You can test out Lato font from here:

Hope this helps.
