Copy effects from one element to another + Broken Section Seperators

Hi all,

Just wanted to start off by saying the latest update is great. It will save a lot of hand coding for mobile breakpoints. One potential feature request for this would be the ability to link the responsive changes to multiple elements (Same with CSS, you can assign a value to multiple elements)

So onto the point of the topic - I wondered if there was a way to copy effects to another element without having to manually do all of the settings for them again? Similar in photoshop to how you can copy / paste a layer style.

Only way I can see of doing it at the moment would be to make a preset and load up the preset on each element, but that would change the rest of the styles too which would be a pain and would only work if you did it for each element type, so the only way would be to do it straight off the bat, but I see effects as a “Final touch” sort of thing rather than first. Is there another way around this?

Also, just noticed that the section separators (top / bottom) have broken since the latest update? Not sure if that’s everywhere so i’ve attached my details in a secure note. (Tried clearing style cache to no avail)

Hi @Keanu,

Thanks for reaching out. Cornerstone allows copy/pasting styles similar to photoshop. Just right click any element and choose “Copy”. You can right click elements in the live preview, the Outline pane, or from the element breadcrumbs. Next right click an element of an identical type, and choose “Paste Style”. The difference between Paste and Paste Style is that the former will include all the elements content and child elements as well as styling.

I’m sorry about those Section separators. We’ve corrected this for the next point release which will be going out shortly.
