Copied pages don't render properly until re-saved in editor

Hello!

I’m testing out a plugin (Broadcast: https://broadcast.plainviewplugins.com/) with my Wordpress multisite running the Pro theme.

I am able to copy pages designed in the Pro/Cornerstone editor to my child sites. However, they do not render properly until they are openedin the Pro/Cornerstone editor and re-saved from there. It’s almost as if it doesn’t see the CSS until that happens.

I have had this issue before even without the aforementioned plugin, but wasn’t as much as a nuisance as this.

Any ideas?

Hi @comdoc_marketing,

Thanks for reaching out.

I suggest that you clear the style cache. To do that, please go to Pro > Status and click the clear style cache button.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

@marc_a, thanks! I think that may have done the trick!

Question for you:

  • I’m working in a multisite environment, will I need to do that in each site?
  • Is there any way I can hook that into another process in functions.php?

Hello @comdoc_marketing,

At the moment, we do not have any solution that prevents you from clearing the cache every time you copy the page. We do not have any hook that you can use either.

Thank you for your understanding.
