ConvertPlus - Where is the subscriber data stored?

I’ve installed Convert Plus as it comes with X, but where does the data actually get stored?
Is this a bit of a dupe to install another product and pay additional?

This ConvertPlus comes with an inbuilt lead capture tool called Connects. You can store and manage leads through Connects, or integrate ConvertPlus with a third party mailer of your choice like MailChimp.
