ConvertPlus & Activecampaign Addon Issue

Hey guys, please do something about it. I already read similar topics about the extra registration key needed for Convertplus while it should not need one since you mention it as a free all inclusive bonus with Xtheme. So please do not just respond with a generic answer, we are not responsible for the licenses of ConvertPlus.

Deactivating and Reinstalling Activecampaign addon fixes the issue but with every update I have to do it all over again else the opt in do not work. I am not looking for a short term solution but for an actual one like it was all good before the last updates.

I am a web developer and working with high ticket clients so please make sure you put this issue under the right team and fix it soon. No reason to respond to me here.

We’re sorry for the confusion. We do understand your predicament but automatic updates for Convertplus Addon are only available with a license of Convertplus thus - not available for X theme bundled Convertplus. This is how it works by default. In case there are changes we will let you know.

As I expected, there is no confusion at all on my side. It is clearly a fault mechanism on your side of things, it is not about the license at all since when deactivating and reinstalling the addon it downloads the latest one without an extra license needed. That means that you just have to proceed this request to your TECH TEAM so they can add a function upon updating Convertplus it redownloads/reinstalls the addon on its own. That’s the only thing that can has to be done.

If you do not fully support the plugins included with the theme do not mention them as a bonus either. You either do or you don’t. simple as that.

Sorry for the confusion, yes, installation should work and the updates aren’t but it’s not because of the license. Those add-ons are out of our control since it belongs to ConvertPlus. And those add-ons updates are located on their server and not from us. But we’ll be happy to forward this to the ConvertPlus author, it’s their plugin internal functionality and limitation.
