Convertplug is not saving to Mailchimp

I setup convertplug and connected it with Mailchimp. It is not behaving as I set it up but when a user enters their email address, that email address is not being saved into mailchimp. Also, convertplug is not showing it as a conversion. I made a video of the user facing interaction here:

Can you help me fix this issue?

The modal will trigger in 45 second or on exit.

I’ve taken a look at the issue in question and there’s a 403 error on submitting the email address (https://monosnap.com/file/Az64E2n28ECRXoEiyYyMzUlagDvs19#)

There should be a more detailed error in your server error log if you could take a look and let us know what’s logged there please?
