Convertplug creating WP Users

Hi there,

I’ve also sent an email over to convertplug/convertplus, but wondered if you guys might have a fix for this. Whenever a user signs up on the convertplug form, it creates them as a user inside of WordPress and tries to get them to create a password etc. Then doesn’t send the details over to aweber as intended. Is there any way to stop this please? I can’t see any easy way to remove it. Just a side note, “Anyone can register” is turned off inside of settings. Also due to GDPR, we don’t want to hold any user information on the website, only on aweber, etc.

convert plus use default user table of WordPress, so there is no option to block this.
You need custom development for this or you can wait for a solution from convert plus developer.

Certainly, you can take help from a developer to do this. This is something out of our theme support scope.
