Convert Standard Page/Post to Cornerstone Elements

I understand that I can’t switch (back and forth) between my standard editor and Cornerstone. But how do I permanently convert a standard page or post to a Cornerstone page? I’ve tried to open the standard page in my Cornerstone editor. With the exception of the title, it appears to be completely empty. No content. If I save, I lose everything. There are no obvious queues or buttons to convert.

Please be advised that only pages or posts created with Cornerstone can be edited with Cornerstone. There is NO method or feature that you can easily convert pages/posts created with the default WP editor. It is best that you create the pages from scratch instead.
