So I have a Convert Plus module pop-up as an age verification
Things were working fine for the last couple weeks since implementing it, but now it seems to be freezing/crashing the website when you try to Accept it
Can you take a look and tell me what you think could be causing this?

I have checked your website and found that some JavaScript errors are showing in the console which might be the reason behind your problem. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I’ve tried and can’t seem to figure it out. I even disabled the recent plugin add ons and still makes site freeze.

Please temporarily disable your WP Rocket plugin and purge your site cache in Cloudflare. You may need to enable the development mode while we are troubleshooting the issue.

Feel free to disable whatever plugins you need during this.

So I would normally have all 3 of those active, the main Newsletter, Sidebar Newsletter and now recently also the Age Verification
I only recently disabled them all because of the issues the Age Verification was giving the site and I needed help linking Convert Plus with Hubspot. But that’s for another thread.
But it was/is the Age Verification that is now making my site freeze. It doesn’t allow you to hit Accept & continue anymore and the website stays frozen on the popup. This one is very important to get working again so I stay compliant with my CC processor.
You can re-enable it for now for testing. If you get it fixed, go ahead and leave it Live then.

I just recently signed up with Hubspot for email newsletter marketing
They also have a plugin for me to use that has Pop-ups & Forms
I wanted to stick to the Themeco suite of plugins for best compatibility, but I will be deeply integrated with Hubspot and think it might not be a bad idea to try out their Pop-ups & Forms since I’m having problems with both right now.
What do you think of this plugin and switching over to it?

That video actually shows the new Age Gate plugin I had installed yesterday
I’m actually liking it a lot better and it seems to work smoother than the Convert Plus plugin does.
I’ve also moved over to Hubspot plugin for email newsletter collection.
So I’m probably just going to delete Convert Plus all together.
Although I do like seeing the history views of my original pop-up module at 100k lol
