Convert Plus just broke my page!

Unhappy with my design options in Contact Form 7 or ThemeCo’s email extension i made a contact-us element via convert plus plugin and inserted it in-page instead of a popup via the widget extension.

After inserting it and refreshing the page many of my elements, css and alignments broke down in the Pro editor.

Yet when i previewed the page everything looked normal.

When i deleted the widget w/its convert plus everything went back to normal.

What happened? How can i avoid this while using Convert Plug inline?

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Could you please check the following first. Please install the following plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-serverinfo/) and then head over to Dashboard -> WP-Serverinfo and post the following information.

  • PHP version
  • PHP Memory Limit
  • PHP Max Script Execute Time

We do recommend PHP v5.6.32 or higher, memory limit 256 or higher and max script execution time 120 or higher.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

@mldarshana i don’t believe i’ll need to use this plugin.

I use PHP 7 and i recently upgrade my hosting PHP memory to 512 and set it up in wp-config too.

The only thing i can’t account for is PHP Max Script Execute Time. Is it necessary to download this plugin? What could be causing this issue?

@mldarshana here is the info:

Hi There,

Please provide your URL.

Please provide your login credentials.

And provide a mockup of what you are trying to achieve and where you have placed the Convertplug element that broke your page.

Thanks

Hi There,

Did you remove ConvertPlus?

Can you provide a mockup of what you are trying to achieve?

You can also try the manual display as shown on this article.

Hope it helps!

@Joao There problem still exists are the following link:

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials, but it seems that has no proper role to view the widget area.

Please try adding the ConvertPlus shortcode on a Content Area element, instead of Widget element.

Cheers!

Convert Plus now seems to be working if i insert it into the Content Area. Thank you!

You’re more than welcome, glad we could help.

Cheers!
