Convert plus issue with slide in

Hello Guys,

I ran into an issue and i noticed it because i bought the convert plus license for another theme i am using and it behaved differently. I contacted convert plus support and they said i should contact the theme Author to resolve the issue.

On the site that works fine:

  • If i create a slide in popup and set it to hide on desktop. It does not show on desktop.
  • If i set slide in as follows:

cookies on
Do not show after conversion : 1 days
Do not show after closing : 0 days
Enable toggle button : Yes
Display toggle button initially: Yes

  • The slide in loads, press x it drops to a tab. Scroll site and Tab only shows and no popup.

On the theme X site:

  • I set slide in popup to hide on desktop, it loads on my laptop.
  • If i set slide in as follows:

cookies on
Do not show after conversion : 1 days
Do not show after closing : 0 days
Enable toggle button : Yes
Display toggle button initially: Yes

  • The slide in loads, press x it drops to a tab. Scroll site and every page it pops up again and X to close to send it to Tab.

Thanks
Sam

Hi Sam,

Would you please kindly do a test. Would you please kindly create a staging version of your website so that the changes will not affect the live website and then delete your ConvertPlus installation and try to go to X > Validation and install out version?

Then kindly do the test and see if it works for you. At the moment we have the version 3.5.6 available and do not support version 3.5.7 yet, so this way we will see if this is something related to the new version or not.

Thank you.

Thanks,

Looks like I accidently installed the latest version that i used on the other site on the theme x site and did not realize since in the back of my mind i knew it came with it lol So I deleted and activated it via the X menu. All works now, thanks again!

Cool, glad to hear that,

You can refer to the latest supported version of extensions here.

Cheers!
