Convert plug & WooCommerce incompatible? Error 500

Hello X team,

Eveything’s is fine, until I installed WooCommerce, turns out there is an issue with the Convertplug that comes within the X theme. Error:
Fatal error: Cannot declare class MaxMind\Db\Reader, because the name is already in use in /home1/sokkiajo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/convertplug/framework/lib/geolite2/Reader.php on line 14

Site runs normally once I deactivate the Convertplug or the WooCommerce. Any idea how to solve?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! I can confirm that there is a bug in the latest version of ConvertPlus version 3.3.3 which you may have updated which has cause the fatal error. Version 3.3.4 will be uploaded and available in the automatic updates anytime soon to address this situation.

I have the same fatal error as @sokkiajo. It seems the only difference is, that I can’t access the login to deactivate the convert plug plugin. Is there another way to deactivate it?

You can use FTP softwares like filezilla and under /wp-content/plugins/ directory, you can either delete or rename Convertplus folder. After that try logging into the website and see how it goes.

If you face any issues, please create a new ticket and share the details in the same. Though the problem is similar, posting on a ticket started by a different user creates lot of confusion and slows down the response time.

Sorry, but we can not provide an ETA. Please revert to ConvertPlus 3.3.2 for now.
