Convert Plug issues

Hello,
We had Convert Plus Modal Popup successfully integrated with MailChimp and working on our staging site however, now that the site is live, it’s not working.

We’ve checked the API, and all convert plus settings look to be accurate. But when we sign up the screen resets, the email address remains in the field but nothing is submitted.

Could you please have a look? https://thebrazenco.com/
It’s the Brazen Signup 2 Modal Popup and it’s Connected to the Launch 2019 feed.

Note: this is different from the footer sign up. The footer sign up is correctly working. The popup is the issue.
Thank you!

Hi @INcroatia,

I checked the front end of the website and it seems that there is a problem with the duplicate IDs for the forms of the submission.

Here is the error message that I get in the Chrome Developer Toolbar:

This might give you an idea and it can be a potential problem cause. But I am not sure. Please kindly make sure that the name, email and the form itself does not have a duplicate ID and it needs to have a unique ID when you use two instances.

Thank you.

Hi @christopher.amirian, thanks for your response! Unfortunately, we’re not any closer to figuring out the issue (or where the duplicate is!).

Any more insigths/tips we could go with?

Hello Paper+Screen,

I have checked your site and I do not see any modal popups. It turns out that they are all paused. Can you please make them live again and then make sure that Breeze caching plugin is temporarily deactivated while we are still troubleshooting the issue?

Thanks.

Hi @RueNel,

The popup is now live and Breeze has been deactivated. Let us know if there’s anything else we can do!

We have now removed the MC4WP plugin and added Email Forms in its stead (also have connected MailChimp to Email Forms with a completely new API).

We have deleted all Convert Plus popups other than the one we want used.

In a previous footer that was used on the page, MailChimp’s generated embedded form was used twice - once on the desktop footer view and the second time on the mobile footer view - and we have now removed the code from the mobile view, leaving only 1 code in the footer.

What else could we do to have this issue resolved and to have the email addressed from the Convert Plus popup recorded to MailChimp for sending out future newsletters?

Hey @INcroatia,

Would you mind giving us access to your staging site so we could compare the setup with your live site. Also, give us Mailchimp access so we could also check the settings.

I’d also like to clarify if we’re still checking the Brazen Signup 2 Modal Popup?

Thanks.
