Convert Parent to Child Theme?

I thought I was working in a Child theme, but I notice “no parent” under Page Attributes. It it’s true I screwed up and built my site in a parent, rather than Child theme, is there a way for me to convert it to a child theme?

Hi David,

It seems that you are describing the Page Parent option that is under the Page Attribute setting which has nothing to do with the site’s theme.

You can check the site’s theme in WP Admin > Appearance > Themes.
