Hi there

We use ThemeX Version: 10.5.16 with Cornerstone Version 7.5.16

We also use WooCommerce and Gravity Forms.

On our product pages we will often use the classic tab content.

At the top of the product page is a jump link that takes the page visitor down to the tab content.

One of those tabs is labeled Ask Question/Request Quote. When the tab is selected, it opens up and displays a Gravity form, which the customer can submit.

We recently noticed that when the form is submitted the person is returned to the top of the page and the Ask Question/Request Quote tab is closed.

This is confusing for the customer. For example, they will never see the message that the form was successfully submitted or that they failed to complete a required form.

This is a relatively new behavior for the tabs.

Question, how can we keep the Ask Question/Request Quote tab open after the form is submitted or when the message that they didnt complete all required fields is displayed and prevent the user from being taken to the top of the page?

Hello Tim,

Thanks for writing in! It is not advisable to place the Forms in a modal or tabbed content. Forms has its own script that allows you to have a custom event triggering after the submit button is clicked. Please your form if you have not set any redirect.

Most of the time, the page reloads when you submit the form. You may need to use the AJAX Submit so that the tab keeps open.
