Continual issues with cornerstone loading and classic elements loading

Hi there,

I’ve tried all of the usual stuff, my memory limits are fine, and I’ve also tried disabling all plugins, and cleared and disabled the caching plugin etc.

When i try to edit a page with cornerstone I get stuck at a loading screen.

Every now and then It will actually open the page in cornerstone, but the elements on the page (all classic elements) just show a loading symbol.

I have urgent changes i need to make to the site can you please take a look and let me know. This site was built quite some time ago and uses a child theme.

Hey @nathgrech,

Your WordPress login does not work. I logged in to your cPanel and saw 2 potential causes.

One is CloudFlare. Please try purging all caches and disconnect your site from Cloudflare.

Two is resource limitation. I see your site has been limited. Please contact your host regarding the details why it has been limited.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have updated the password in the secure message above. THis occurs when cloudflare is being bypassed/in development mode.

Regarding resources, I’ve already set 256 and 512 mb memory limits for WP and PHP so this isnt the cause.

Hi there,

I installed the WP-Serverinfo plugin and checked the Dashboard > WP ServerInfo menu and indeed the PHP Memory Limit and the execution time are set as expected and should work ok.

I tested the Benefits of an Electric bed page and it is working ok and all the Classic Elements show. I wonder what specific page you have problems in?

Also, I wonder if there is only one page with the problem? Meanwhile, you will always have the Skeleton mode to change things around if you do not have access to preview. Click on the icon below inside the Cornerstone:

Select the element you want to edit, make the edit and save the page:

Thank you.

Hi, Using the skeleton view is not an option as the reason I purchased x-theme is to use the front end editor.

It appears to be similar to what people are experiencing here, I did receive this message one time:

I have contacted my host and no resources were limited except the I/O at a few times.

It usually gets stuck at this loading screen, but other times it opens but all of the elements dont load.

The memory settings are correct. The below console shows a cornerstone JS error? Is this something that could be causing it? I’ve now completely removed caching plugins, and bypassed cloudflare with development mode and the issue persists.

What do I do next?

This is what happens when it occasionally does open.

Hi Chris, am I able to get any more assistance?

Hi There,

You issue seems to be related to a plugin conflict. When I have disabled couple of plugins and test your page, Cornerstone editor is loading (check secure note).

Could you please try disabling all of your plugins and test this issue again. Make sure to disable your browser cache as well.

Thanks!
