Context7, AI, Themeco Docs - Let's Modernize

Hey guys,

It’s admittedly disappointing that you haven’t connected themeco Docs to an LLM. Not only would this make self-support 10x easier, it would eliminate a ton of how-to support questions.

Imagine if I could just go to the themeco AI and ask it how to create an accordion that functions like vertical tabs, and it just tells me, using your own docs for context. Right now, I have to sort through about 100 forum posts, none of which actually shows how to do this. Then if I’m very lucky I stumble upon Josh’s video on your youtube channel that shows how to do it. I have to watch the whole video, rewinding a few times since Josh talks at 80mph.

I realize you have some AI stuff in the works and I’m sure it will be great but it’s probably a while off.

In the meantime, have you considered submitting your docs to Context7? It’s a repository of the latest dev docs for all sorts of technologies from Wordpress to Node.js and it works with code editors so they can write code and answer questions based on current docs rather than outdated training built into the LLM.

Several themes are already on it, but it would be hugely helpful if you could get on there.

Getting our docs into an LLM is certainly something we’ve looked into and will eventually complete. Originally I determined we just needed more docs which sparked the creation of the Dynamic Content docs section as well as more docs in the “Developers” section. With our initial release of CSAI, we’ll transition to doing more training or LLM setup so we can have the AI answer Cornerstone questions. And then eventually have layout generation in Cornerstone.

I’m not sure Context7 would work for us everywhere, since it looks like it relies on code snippets from what I could gather. And I’d rather have an AI that can answer questions about the visual part of our builder. Appreciate sending us that though. Have a great day.
