Content Storage Migration

Hi, we have just purchased the Content Storage Migration facility you offer to convert the Cornerstone Shortcode to HTML but we haven’t received any email or information on how this will take place. Can you suggest what the next steps are please. We will need the conversion created on the staging server to start with. thanks.

Hey Paul,

Thank you for purchasing the Content Storate Migration service. Please provide the staging login details in a Secure Note and we’ll get started.

  • Staging WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • Staging FTP access (in case of issues).

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Hey Paul,

Content Storage Migration is currently experiencing an issue because there is an issue with your Insight and Event pages (see screenshots in the secure note). Note that I’m showing the issue in your live site as proof that they are outputting a critical error. You will need to fix the issue first before we try the Content Storage Migration again.

Hi, are you able to run the migration regardless of this issue. The events pages are not really important, and we will be doing some work to change all of this anyway, we just need a running conversion into html on the staging server for now.

It looks like the error is on the cornerstone plugin:

Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: array_pop(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, string given in /var/www/vhosts/healthinnovationnetwork.com/staging.healthinnovationnetwork.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/_classes/classic/class-control.php:271

we have installed the latest Cornerstone plugin on staging which still has the same issue.

Hi, I wondered if we had any update on this yet please. Thanks.

Hi, please can you update us on this. We are trying to make progress on this site and there hasn’t been any resolution as yet.

We are going release a fix that prevents the error from occurring. However I’m afraid there might be something wrong with one of your pages. Can you try and open up Post ID 1334 in Cornerstone and see what might be the problem?

Thanks for responding. We mentioned before that we don’t need this any of the ‘Events’ posts, which this is one of. The reason it’s not connected is that it has uses an Eventbrite API which is not set up on staging. All we need is to have the Posts converted to HTML, then we can export all the posts out to a new site we are creating for this client. Thanks.

It’s an all or nothing thing when it comes to converting. If it’s trying to convert that post it means there is some Cornerstone data there. Is this an older site? Because this error could only happen with the usage of Classic Elements. If you are trying to export out to a new site you could try our plugin SiteDrive.

Thanks. On staging we have deleted the problematic post: Post ID 1334 and all the other ‘Events’ posts. We’ve also deleted the events plugin. Can you see if this will work? Feel free to delete any other posts that are problematic, if you can just log what they are please. Many thanks.

Hey Paul,

Content Migration now succeeded. You can now experience the benefits of HTML Storage.
