Content over "Fullscreen" feature in Revolution slider

Hi there,

On staging front page http://bit.ly/2rcRt18 I placed example slider from Themepunch (girl with glasses http://bit.ly/2HOa9ut)
When you click the girl, lighbox is behind content and I don’t now how to fix it. On the other side, If I edit page and select options to display a slider above/below the masthead then fullscreen works ok.

Thanks in advance!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! I have checked the site and I can confirm the issue in your slider. This could be the z-index of your layers. Would you mind providing the access so that we can check your slider?

Regards.

Thanks for quick reply, it is in secure note.

Hi there,

It’s because of the container. Z index value is only applicable to relative elements, hence, it’s being contained by parent wrapper. Other lightbox plugins creates instance of modal popup before </body> to prevent issues like this. But this time, the slider creates the instance of modal popup within its slider content, affected by the relative positioning of the parent element.

I tried some workaround but it’s not working, the solution will be removing all relative positioning of all content wrappers, but it caused display issue. I recommend disabling your slider lightbox, and use another lightbox instead of that one. Just make the image similar to a button and bound to other lightbox.

Thanks!

Thanks for response.
Idea was to create slider with 10 images each linked to lightbox (like on present site http://bit.ly/2HLk6sF). I should probably have to buy Envira gallery slider addon or if you have any other idea please let me know.

Thanks!

Hi there,

I think Envira Gallery Slider should be okay too. But you should contact them first about its lightbox feature. I’m not sure how they do it within an addon.

Layer Slider plugin has popup feature too (which is modal/lightbox) but I’m not sure how it works since it’s only available if you buy them directly from the plugin author.

I think you’ll have to contact them directly first.

Thanks!
