Content not showing in Cornerstone

Hi. My content was created using Cornerstone but now when I go to edit the page it is showing blank. The frontend still works though.

This wasn’t working on version 5 so we updated to version 6 and it still didn’t fix the issue.
Anyway to get this working again?

Hello Cobus,

Did you happen to edit the page content outside Cornerstone because this issue usually happens when the page edit was switched from Cornerstone to the basic Wordpress editor and some of the page contents are edited which breaks some of the serialized data that is important in Cornerstone.

If you have a backup of the page, you can restore the page backup then edit the page from there.

Hi. I am not sure as there are a few people that work on the site.
Can I use the standard WP page revisions or does it have to be done through Cornerstone?

Hello Cobus,

Thanks for updating the thread.

Ideally you should not use WordPress page revision on pages designed using Cornerstone as it will break the Cornerstone serialized data. I suggest you to check with the concerned persons working on the website if they have taken backup.
