Content Modal Vimeo Autoplay

Hi there,

I’m really enjoying this theme! Well done to all the developers .

I’m going through a few improvements over my website and wonder if it’s possible to have a Vimeo video to autoplay upon opening a modal element?

At the moment when you click at any video (embedded in a content modal element) you have to first click to open the modal and then click again to start playing and would love to eliminate the later click, so when people click at the picture ( any of the 6 pictures grid on homepage) it starts playing automatically.

I’ve tried with the inline code ‘autoplay=1’ but it doesn’t work.

Any help would be much appreciated :).

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your homepage and I have seen the 6 images. When I click on it, the content modal displays and the video automatically plays on my end. Off course it take a few moments to play the video since it needs to buffer. Did you install a caching plugin? Always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.
