Content fade in

Hi! How can I get columns/content to fade in?

Hi Alex,

There is no such option at the moment using the new column system. We are planning to have a unified animation system in future releases for all elements.

At this point of time you either need to use a library such as AOS and add the library classes to the columns by going to the Customize tab:

Or you hold the Control button on Windows or Command button on Mac while clicking the add section to add a classic section which will lack the new options but it will have the old animation for columns:

Thank you.

Hi,

Many thanks! I have used the aos library at https://oxford-wedding-photographer.co.uk/ and it is working. However, as you’ll see, scrolling up and down the page now ‘sticks’, particularly on mobile. Is there a way of fixing that?

Thanks for your help
Alex

Hello Alex,

You added a broken custom class.

Are you using the new section element? Please go to the Customize tab and then find the “Custom Attributes” option instead and then add the AOS data attribute as shown below:

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi

The ‘sticking’ issue seems to be unrelated, as I’ve removed all classes. For some reason you need to tap twice in order to scroll - any idea why?

Alex

Hello Alex,

You have already inserted the AOS script in your page. This means that as soon as the page loads, it will be trigger. The problem is that your attribute is still not properly added which will create a conflict in the page scrolling.

The output in the front end should be:

<div class="e5-1 x-section" data-aos="fade-up" >
