Content Editing creates Blank Page after Update

Hello,

You’ll probably get a lot of these messages but I just updated the site.
First of all, amazing to hear the update and what it includes!!

Now, when going in to edit a page in Cornerstone, the page preview shows blank. I try clicking the link in the menu and it comes in the Cornerstone edit but won’t let me edit anything.

How do we fix this?

I’m sorry you’re running into this. Would you mind adding login credentials in a secure note? I could take a look at the site to get a better idea of what’s going on.

How is a secure note created?

There’s a button in the bottom right of any of your posts when it’s your topic.

I figured it out now!

It’s there!

Hey @NicoCollu, I see the secure note, but I’m missing the site URL. Could you add that to the note, or in a reply? Thanks!

Wow, that was stupid of me!

It’s in there now, too!

Hello!

For some reason, Cornerstone is letting me choose elements/modules now in the Cornerstone editor. Still, it won’t show LayerSlider in there and the “Bottom Separater” is not working.

Any update since last time?

I hear an update might come out in a few hours!

Thank you!

Hi @NicoCollu,

I believe the previous issue may have been cacheing related. I’ve done some testing with Layer Slider and confirmed it wasn’t previewing due to a bug. I’ve corrected this for the upcoming release so it will start working after you update.

Hello,

Alright, sounds great, thanks for checking!

Not sure if it’s forgotten although I am still having issues with a Bottom Seperater (in another topic that is now locked) not working even though it’s “on”.

@NicoCollu,

Thanks for reminding me. I forgot we forked this from another thread. I’ve checked into the issue and I’ve been able to confirm it’s a bug that happens when you have a background image on the section below. We’ll investigate what’s possible to get this resolved.

Hello, you are absolutely right!

I found a work-around!

In the section under, I put the following custom CSS code: z-index:0; and it has allowed for the Seperater to show!

Let me know if the bug gets solved so I can remove this work-around!

Thank you, our developers are working on it, please follow the changelog of the next release which should come out in a few hours.

Thank you!

Hello!

Thank you, I can confirm that your update has fixed it!

Great! Thanks for letting us know.

Is there a way to mark topics as “Solved” so that I don’t enter into the same topics not sure whether they have been solved or not?

Glad to know it’s resolved. We’ve marked it ‘solved’ as well.

Cheers!

Cool but is there a way for me to mark it as “Solved”?

I don’t see your mark on it anywhere?

Hi There,

Once our staff replied and if there’s no response from the original thread creator, system will automatically identify it as solved and remove it from the support queue.

Thanks!
