Content dock - "Do not show again"

Hi,

Content dock is not respecting the 'Do not show again" checkbox. I can see that it sets the cookie with the expiry date, but when I navigate away from the page and come back again, the content dock shows again after scrolling the page a bit (as setup to 5%).

It does respect it when I am logged in and does not show it again.

Could you please help with this?

Thanks for writing in! I am using the latest Pro theme 6.8.4 and Content Dock 2.0.11 version. I could not replicate the issue in our local testing server.

It could that a 3rd party plugin or a script is causing the issue in your site. We would be happy to double check your site if we can log in. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
– Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site

Thanks for looking into this. I have the same version installed. The plugin works fine when I am logged in. It’s when I am not logged in, it does not respect the cookie and shows the content dock despite the value is set to true. Have you tried without logging in and confirm that the content dock doesn’t show when the checkbox is ticked to set the cookie value to true?

We need to ensure that no 3rd party factor is causing the issue. Please kindly do the following tests.

1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
3. Theme Update
4. Child Theme
5. Css/Js Customization
6. Disabling Cache
7. Disabling Cdn

Only if none of the above fixes the issue, please provide the details asked by my colleague in our previous response.
