Content Dock bug when used with Essential Grid

Hello,

I am trying to use content dock, when activated and using the option ‘Active for all products’ it is then stopping my essential grid from displaying which has the products in the grid.

There is a work around by just selecting the products individually below this option but this means all future products added will need to be selected also.

Is this something that can be looked into please?

Thanks,

Russ

Hey Russ,

I believe you inserted the Essential Grid shortcode in the Content Dock. That setup is not supported.

If that is not your setup, please provide more details or context as to what your setup is. You can also provide us with WordPress admin access in a Secure Note so we can take a look at your setup.

Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I may have described the issue incorrectly, I am not using the Essential Grid shortcode in the content dock, I have only inserted an image for testing purposes so far. I am using essential grid on the shop pages to display products.

When I activate content dock and then select the option above ‘Active for all products’ that is where I am getting the issue with the essential grid on my shop page not displaying.

Thanks, Russ

Hello Russ,

You seem to forget to include the site URL of your site. Please send it to us so we can log in.

Cheers.

Apologies I have added it to the secure note.

Thanks

Hey Russell,

I suspect this is a bug in our Content Dock extension so I’m going to add this in our issue tracker so our development team will be made aware. Regretfully, there’s no other option for now but to not use Content Dock for pages with scroll-based effects even Cornerstone scroll-based elements. The Essential Grid also has scroll-based effects.

Please stay tuned for updates.

Thank you.
