Content disappeared since Pro update

This is the second time that my website (https://plantifulcoach.com/) gets messed up after a Pro update, I’m so disappointed. The content on my homepage mostly disappeared, front-end as well as backend preview. I disabled all plugins, to no effect. I rolled back to a stable version (2.3.2) and everything’s now ok except the header navigation is squished (which I’ve had to fix with CSS).

Please could you resolve this ASAP so that I know when it’s safe to update Pro? And why can’t your team make sure the updates are more glitch-free?

Edited to add: on pages set to “content left, sidebar right”, the sidebar has been pushed down to below the content. Also a problem, which I don’t know how to fix.

Hey @muriel,

Thanks for testing for a plugin conflict but I see you’re using a child theme. Custom codes in there could be the cause too. It would be best to copy your site to a staging server and update Pro in there and switch to the parent theme and check if the issue will persist. If it does, some custom code in the child theme is causing the issue and in this case, you need to consult with a developer to fix the code.

Before releasing an update, our products are tested thoroughly but bugs are not avoidable in software development. In our test site, Pro updated fine.

If switching to the parent theme still doesn’t help, please give us access to your staging site and we’ll continue to investigate.

If you don’t want to copy your live site to staging, we’ll check in your live site but please keep in mind that we’ll still disable plugins and test out settings and that might break your site or it might disrupt your users.
