Content disappeared on page, still showing in Cornerstone

Hello,
Last week I had a weird (and very inconvenient professionaly) problem with the home page of my website. I relocated it here in the meantime: http://spatialstories.net/home2 and had to rebuild the page from scratch in a hurry. Here’s the problem:

First, I had a lot of trouble accessing Cornerstone: it was loading for a very long time and randomly crashing. I managed to change some (minor) things on the page, but then it seemed as if my changes weren’t saved. Then I loaded the page and all my content was gone! As you can see, only the header and footer remain. But in Cornerstone, everything is still there.

Could you have a look? Do you have any idea what caused this? I would hate for this problem to happen again.

I can see all your row element are set to be hidden in desktop.

Please check settings and deselect.

Thank you Paul. I just set the row elements to be visible again in desktop (minus some that I don’t want to be visible).
However, I have no idea how all these elements were changed in the first place. Very weird.

I still have a problem though. When I try to modify some text on that page, nothing changes. Similarly, when I add a text element, I can’t change the default text…

Hi Paul, thank you for your reply.
Well, it still doesn’t work properly from my end. I just opened the same page (www.spatialstories.net/home2) in Cornerstone: it took an eternity to load, and when it did, every section was hidden by default. These weird behaviors occured on other pages, and also on another of my websites using X (www.apelab.ch).

My colleague developer took a screenshot of a possible cause, please take a look:

Update: could it be the same problem? Looks like the file cs-vendor.js is the cause, either with errors or missing -> https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cornerstone-just-loading-endlessly/17847/8

Hi there,

It’s not because of cs-vendor.js, because if it’s, then it shouldn’t load at all without spinning or loading animation. Plus, it’s not missing on your site.

I also checked and I confirm the loading time is 8mins, the builder is working fine, but the loading is too long.

Are you on shared hosting? And please provide your FTP login credentials in a secure note, I like to increase the memory limit myself while checking if it’s taking effect in the admin.
