Content differences between logged-in & logged-out user

Hi! I have a custom category archive template built with Cornerstone that I recently updated. When I’m logged in as admin I see the new version of the content. Logged-out users still see the old version. This is on the staging environment for my site. I have not yet uploaded the content to the production environment.

In reading this forum for similar issues I saw that one user had a similar problem with an outdated version of the theme so I updated my Pro theme version to the latest v6.4.20. After updating I am now having the same problem with my main navigation on desktop (Navigation Inline component) displaying correctly when logged in but the drop-down menus don’t display when logged out. The menu content hasn’t been edited in a long time & was working fine until the update.

Hey Beth,

Thanks for reaching out!

I do believe that the issue you are facing has something to do with the cache. If you use any plugins for caching, I highly recommend to purge the cache. Also, if your website is under Cloudflare, please set it to development mode to reflect the changes.

Hope that helps.

Yes there was a caching plugin enabled. After clearing all caches I’m now seeing the correct version of the content & menu drop-downs are working again. Thanks!

Hey Beth,

Thanks for letting us know that it was just a cache issue and has been resolved.

Cheers.
