Content Created With Cornerstone Not Publishing

Hi, this is my first time using theme X and cornerstone so I may have made a basic mistake.

When creating content on my homepage with cornerstone, the content doesn’t seem to publish and appear on the live site.

The code can be seen in the editor but nothing is being shown on the live site. (This is a brand new site).

I have tried deactivating all plugins but that didn’t seem to make any difference.
