Content Block Do Not Show again cookie

The Content Dock continues to display even though I’ve set to 12 days for do not show again. It also pops up sooner than the time frame I have set.
Please advise on how to fix.

Thanks for writing in! I can see that you are using X 7.0.2. Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:
- X theme 7.0.4
- Cornerstone 4.0.4
- Content Dock 2.0.4

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hi Rick,

Thank you for writing in, I’ve tested your content dock and it seems to be a caching related issue because when I append /?nocache=1 in the address the Content Dock does not show up.

How many seconds did you set the Auto trigger timeout? I’ve tested this as well, the content dock shows up somewhere 12s-15s after the page complete loading (is that right?)

Please CLEAR all your caching features/plugin.

Cleared the cache and seems to work on desktop but on iPhone the popup shows up as soon as scroll. Also, click to not show again does not work. Pop right back up when refresh page.

Hi Rick,

Sorry but I can not replicate this issue on my dev site, so this must be something on your setup, a caching is more likely, please CLEAR (again) and DEACTIVATE your caching plugins for a while and browser’s cache and see if that resolves the issue.

If not, please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
