Content based on day of the week

I’m trying to find an easy way to display content on a page based on the day of the week.

I have a cafeteria site which needs to display the current day’s menu on the main page.

I have been going in manually to change the menu on the main page, but it seems there should be an easier way to simply have Monday’s items display on Monday and Tuesday’s items display on Tuesday, etc.

I tried doing this with a plugin, but instead of displaying the Cornerstone content, it simply displayed all of the Cornerstone shortcodes that composed the menu page in question.

Any suggestions?

Regarding the function that you need, displaying a specific contern per specific day, unfortunately, this is not a feature available on the theme. For cornerstone shortcode to work on a plugin, the plugin should be able to process a shortcode. Unfortunately, we don’t have control on how the plugin is coded.

Another option available is customization. Unfortortunately, this would be outside the scope of our support. You might need to consult a developer to achieve this. Thank you for understanding.
