Content Band/Div fullwidth below navigation - Ethos

Hi,

I’d like to promote a book beneath the navigation, but above the slider on the Ethos theme. My site is setup to go to the Latest Posts page on the homepage. Is it possible to add a content band of some sort below the navigation. I am happy for it to be custom HTML, or a widget area.

Thanks

Hi,

To achieve that, you can add the code below in your child theme’s functions.php file

function add_custom_div() {
if(is_home()):
?>

  ADD YOUR HTMLCODE HERE

<?php
endif;
}
add_action( 'x_before_view_global__slider-below', 'add_custom_div', 10 );

Hope that helps
