Content Area (versus Classic Element) Question

In the latest build, where there is the option to use a classic element and the new elements - example: Content Area. We went ahead and built out the new pages using new elements, however, there’s no ability to edit text in the content area with an ‘editor’?

In a classic element you can choose to edit in HTML or Text, why isn’t this an option in the new elements?

Am I missing something to enable the text editor in the new ‘Content Area’ element?

Thanks.

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, “Rich Text” editor is deactivated in Content Area element (for some reason). We’ve added this as a feature request so it can be taken into consideration for future development.
For now please use the V2 Text element if you need to edit with “Rich Text” editor.

Cheers!

Thanks for the speedy reply.

I’m really unclear at this point though why there was an update made to the theme that makes it less viable to use. So far there’s several issues that make it a no-go choice going forward.

I appreciate the feedback though, thanks!

Hi There,

We certainly appreciate your feedback too, at the moment our development team is focused on the Template Manager feature which will be available very soon.

After that, the first quarter of 2018 will be dedicated to bug fixing and usability improvements.

Thank you.
