Contact form7 checkbox background color

Hello. I’m not sure if you can help with this or not (?). Please see capture attached. I cannot seem to target the background color of the checkbox from Contact Form7. As shown in the capture, the background color is blue when the box is checked. I need to be able to change the color of the background and the check mark and nothing I try seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

To change the background color of the checkbox, you need to add some custom CSS code to the page where the form is used. As you know that the custom CSS is beyond the scope of Theme Support, so, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thank you for your response. I understand how to use CSS, however, it seems that targeting the correct selector has no effect and I was unsure if the Theme was somehow preventing me from changing the color of the CF-7 checkbox background.

According to the CF-7 support forum, using the CSS below will target the checkbox, yet it seems to have no effect on the page I am applying it.

I have tested the code in my local environment, and it worked. As I have already told you, hire a developer who can assist you with this, or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer questions beyond normal theme support.
