Hi guys
Would love some help with this, please.
- I want to hide the default button style when using the drop-down menu in the contact form so the user sees just the placeholder and arrows.
- Vertically distribute the 2 columns
Hi guys

Hello @philysgdy,
Thanks for writing in! Please be advised that each browser renders the select input field differently. Please see the attached image as a comparison:
Overriding the default styling of the rendered look in your browser will require custom CSS which is considered as custom development. Keep in mind that this request is already beyond the scope of our support. You may need to check out this tutorial article instead:
Thank you for your understanding.
Thanks Rue
Makes sense, I feel like we are on the edge of what is possible without custom code. I have 4 of these to place on this site am I better switching to gravity forms to achieve a template that I can use? Or do I take it to ONE and we work it out there?
Hello @philysgdy,
So far, I haven’t seen or knew anything that you can make the options into two columns. Usually, the input select field is always dropdown. It can even display a long dropdown list if you have more entries. Have you checked out the detailed explanation of how you can style the select field? Kindly check out the link instead:
Best Regards.
Hi Ruenel
Apologies I wasn’t referring to the menu dropdown on the select field. It was the 2 columns which I have the content in.
Thanks for the link I see I need to assign a class to the label, I did wrap a div around it, but the div didn’t change it. I will keep working on it.
You are most welcome!
