I believe I get contact form 7 with your X theme. For some reason, I keep getting this message: “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” when trying to send a message.
Could you possibly help?

Thanks for writing in! First of all, try to troubleshoot your issue by following the instructions below.
1.If you have a child theme, there could be conflicts with your child theme customizations. In such cases, I would suggest you to disable your child theme temporarily by activating your parent X theme and re-test your issue further.
2.If you have added any custom JavaScript into your site, remove them as well and re-test your issue further.
3.If you’re using a caching plugin, I would suggest you to purge your server cache and disable your caching plugin temporarily. Also refer (https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/).
You can also try configuring a SMTP plugin and see if that helps (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/1) to deliver your email notifications correctly.
