Contact Form 7 not updating

Hello. I was hoping the issue would resolve with Pro updating but my Contact Form 7 is not updating. This has been an issue since back in X days. Attached please see snip with details. I thank you so very much as always.

Thanks for writing in!

I checked the on my setup and the contact form is getting updated without any issue. I think there is some issue with your setup, as per the screen-shot there is some kind of permission issue on the server.
Please delete the file through FTP or Cpanel file manager and re-upload the latest version on the plugin folder.

If you can provide us your login details we can check the reason of the issue.
Please send the details in a secure note.

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials, but the sFTP did not work. Actually it is more faster if we do it on cPanel’s File Manager, on File Manager navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ directory and delete the contact-form-7 folder.

Download a fresh and updated copy of Contact Form 7 zip file (contact-form-7.5.x.x.zip) here.

Also on your File Manager, upload this zip file on the plugin directory /wp-content/plugins/ and extract it there.

Then delete the zip file (or you can leave it there) and reload your admin dashboard.
