Contact form 7- Not showing success Message

Hi there, I need help with two things. The first is in Conctact Form 7-the form seems to be working fine, but upon submitting, the fields clear but no success message appears. I am getting the submission email which means it is going through, but the front user wouldn’t necessarily know their information was submmitted.

I have tried doing the other things other people in the forum wrote about, but didn’t really get anywhere and it is still not showing the success message.

Also, The form is in a convert Plug from the Main button on the top of the page. Thanks!

The second thing is that on the convert plug, the x (to get out of the pop up convert plug) is way outside the edge of the pop up. I have already adjusted the settings so that it is done within the pop up, but for some reason it doesn’t reflect this when I see it live. I have attached a screenshot of where the “x” appears to close the box out.

I just tried contact form 7 and convert plus close button area on my test sites and it works without issue.

It looks like a cache issue as your settings are not being reflected in the front end.

Can you check with your host if there are any caching enabled and let them clear and temporarily disable it so we can debug this properly.

You could also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
