Contact Form 7 email field rejecting all addresses

We are using Contact Form 7 in the footer and the email field is rejecting all email addresses added into it. This has only just begun to happen, so any idea what is going wrong here?

Please make sure you are using the latest version of the Contact-form-7 plugin. It generally happens due to plugin conflict or custom code issues.
