Contact Form 7 Button Bug

Hello, I have had an issue with the contact form submission button CSS for a while, which I usually use Custom CSS to fix, but it would be really great if it could be fixed completely from the theme side. I’m wondering if no one has raised it as a bug!

The issue is related to button hover, and the setting from the theme settings. See screenshots that show the button defaulting to the theme standard (red hover), and not correctly using the colour that has been set in the theme option area.

Note, I am using Integrity as the theme stack in this example (as confirmed from CSS file used for the backup default red).

Also, as a feature request - could options like button shadow, and text-shadow also be added to the default options area, alongside color, background, and border?

Update: It does work correctly when two different colours are used (even if they are the same). The bug is related to the linking of default / interaction only

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out.
Sometimes the only screenshot doesn’t help us to recognize the issue you are having. I have tried to replicate it in my local environment but didn’t find any problem. Can you please share the URL along with login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific Page URL where you have added the Contact Form

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks
