Conflict with Ninja Forms

Hello,

I set up Ninja Forms for my X Theme with Cornerstone site, but upon testing I have not been able to submit a form. Everything looks alright, but when I fill out a test form and press submit the button gets stuck in “Processing,” there is never a submission confirmation or email notification, or anything submitted on the back end.

I have contacted their support and they suggested deactivating my other plugins to find the conflict. It looks like the conflict is originating in Cornerstone. If I insert my form short code in the plain text box without Cornerstone I am able to submit a form successfully. However, when I insert it into a Cornerstone plain text element, I encounter this issue. My entire site is built through Cornerstone, so I need to be able to integrate the two. I’m wondering if you have encountered this in the past and if you have any suggestions for resolving.

The form I’m using to test is: http://pacify2dev.wpengine.com/get-in-touch/

The test page of the form inserted outside of Cornerstone, which appears to be working, is: http://pacify2dev.wpengine.com/test/

Please let me know if you have any suggestions - thanks!

Actually, update. The “successful” form submission outside of Cornerstone is only when I fill it out in a preview of the page. When I fill it out on the published version, both with the form inserted through cornerstone and inserted through plain text, the same “processing” issue occurs, with no submission successful message and no submission on the back end. I’ve updated all my plugins, I’ve tried deactivating every plugin except Ninja Forms, and I’ve tried it on another theme (Twentysixteen). The forms are only submitting in page preview windows.

Hi @ccbeglin,

It looks like you might be having an issue with Ninja Forms. There are errors when I submit the form and none of them is related to X nor Cornerstone.

Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

Thank you for your understanding.

Ok, thank you for trying!
