Conflict with Cornerstone and Wicked Folders Plugin

Hello!

I’m trying to track down the source of an incompatibility with this plugin: https://wickedplugins.com/plugins/wicked-folders/.

When that plugin is activated, Cornerstone will not load. It sticks on the loading spinner and the console shows this error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘replace’ of undefined
at Function.m.template (underscore.min.js:5)
at HTMLDocument. (media.js?ver=2.6.2:56)
at i (jquery.js:2)
at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js:2)
at Function.ready (jquery.js:2)
at HTMLDocument.K (jquery.js:2)

I am also reaching out to the plugin author for support, but thought you might have a simple solution.

Is it possible to add an action or filter to theme functions to disable this plugin from adding scripts when cornerstone is activated? The plugin cannot be indefinitely disabled on this site…

Thanks for writing in! A loading screen could mean a fatal error. Could you please enable the debug mode? You can do this by opening wp-config.php and adding define( 'WP_DEBUG' , true ); just above /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ . When you revisit the page, you should have some error output describing the issue in more detail.

We also recommend that you increase your PHP memory limit. It might have been exhausted and which may have caused the issue. Simply edit your wp-config.php file and add the following:

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

I don’t believe this is a PHP error, but I did enable debug and increase the memory limits with no change to the issue or error/warning/notice shown.

Again, the issue appears to be a javascript type error that causes scripts to fail on the page.

This error originates in the scripts added by the Wicked Folders plugin, and only happens when Cornerstone is loaded for a page. This plugin is not necessary for page editing, so I would like to find a way to disable the plugin from adding scripts when the page is loaded in Cornerstone.

Hi There,

In that case, please contact the plugin developer, ask theme to add filter on there script so it will not be added once Cornerstone page builder is loaded.
