Conflict with Business Directory Pro plugin?

Hey guys. I’m running Theme X and Business Directory Plugin and it appears that there is a conflict with listing titles. On each specific listing page, at the top of the page is supposed to be the post title of the person’s name. However, it just carries through the “Certified Professionals” title from the main directory page. I’ve been through support with Business Directory Pro and they said it’s a Theme conflict with X. When I switch to Twenty Twenty-Two theme, the listing titles appear correctly.

However, if you were to click into someone’s listing page from that above link, you’ll see how it doesn’t display their name as the title, it just carriers through “Certified Professionals”

Any thoughts?

It will be very difficult to understand what exactly is happening at your end. Although the 3rd Party plugin issue is outside the scope of Theme Support, still we are curious to know what is the reason behind the problem. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Hello Michael,

The page is using the business directory shortcode.

This means that each of the business listings is using the “Certified Professionals” page as a container. The Business Directory plugin should be using its own custom post type so that WordPress will accommodate the listing post type and display the contents using the single post template. We highly recommend that you contact the creators of the plugin for further assistance to know how you can resolve this issue since the Business Directory plugin is a 3rd party plugin and not fully supported plugin by the theme.
