Since upgrading to latest Pro version on 5th October, am not able to able to edit Page with Pro as I get the following error message Conflict on Front end has prevented Preview from Loading

Please help

Thanks for writing in! Don’t panic, there are normally a few common causes which we’ll help you track down.

1: If you’re using caching at all (i.e, a caching plugin). Make sure to clear the cache and then deactivate the plugin. Clear your browser cache and try and load the editor with the cache plugin deactivated.

2: If you use CloudFlare (if you aren’t sure what this is, you can skip this step). Ensure CloudFlare is set to development mode for testing purposes and try again.

3: If you have entered any Custom CSS or JS in the editor, try removing that. It’s often the case a small syntax error causes the editor not to load.

4: If you’re running a child theme, switch to the parent theme, create a new page in the wp-admin and try editing with the Content Editor and see if that works.

Hi Jack

Have deactivated the Cache plugin. Don’t use cloudflare. Don’t have custom css. Not running child theme.

Yet, the problem persists. please help

Would you please kindly get back to us with the URL/User/Pass of your website using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case?

Also, I would recommend that you contact your hosting service provider and ask them to make sure the Cornerstone related URLs are removed from their mod_security rules. The URLs are your website . com / x

Hi there,

It’s due to your existing plugin Essential Addons for Cornerstone & Pro and it’s not compatible with cornerstone version anymore. Please contact the plugin author or update it. Though, maybe there are other conflicting plugins too as the loading is slow with script conflict message. Though, disabling that essential addon plugin fixes the loading issue of the builder.

You may need to disable other plugins to see if there will be the improvement in speed.
