Configure Recent posts

Hy, i´d like to configure the resent posts element only on my Homepage that there is the post picture on top, title, date and text of the first 200 letters of the post. It should be 3 coloumns. How can i configure it?

Hello There,

I have checked your site and it seems that the recent posts element is already in place having 3 columns.

The section does display the recent post which is Events, Search Accommodation and Accommodation. If these is not the one you would like to display then please delete these pages and create it as a post because right now, you have created them as a post and not a page. I would recommend that you review the comparison between the post and a page which can be seen here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

Ok, i know this, thanks, but i mean that the posts are not looking how i want.
I want that there is the post picture on top, title, date and text of the first 200 letters of the post. Is it possible that i can only show a specific category?

Hi there,

The current recent posts element is implemented differently from previous one, we don’t recommend customizing it. Which is why we included some grid plugin that can have the same functionality but customizable.

Could you clarify which recent posts you’re referring? Because there are two groups, one with cornerstone’s recent posts element and one is the essential grid. I recommend making them both in essential grids and use the skin builder to add excerpt, title, date, and category. https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/item-skin-editor/
