On our clients site https://fgc.dk we have some restricted user roles. After updating to the latest X version those user roles can no longer load the cornerstone editor? It works for Admin user role.
We are using Advanced Access manager plugin and also WPML on the site (usual suspects for conflicts). I tried deactivating these plugins but still does not help.
This is the difference in console between admin loading cornerstone and the other user role.

I can confirm that the Cornerstone is working fine for admin user. However, it seems that you forgot to share details of restricted user. Can you please share the same in a secure note? Also can you please give us the permission to make changes in the website and while we are troubleshooting the same there might be some temporary hick-ups on the website? We may create additional users for testing purpose. However, please note that over here the changes you have made is via a 3rd party plugin (Advanced Access Manager) so there is always a question of conflicts.

I found the problem. Apparently cornerstone will not load if the user is restricted from publish_pages. One I allowed that user role to publish pages then cornerstone loads as normal. I don’t know if it is something you should look into?
That user role should not be able to publish pages so instead of restricting is through AAM capabilities I have just hidden the “add new” page through AAM backend menu settings.

Glad you’ve sorted it out. This is an edge case because normally, the user will or presumed to publish the page created in Cornerstone. Also take into account Cornerstone’s Content Roles setting.
