Components vs Templates

Hello,

I’m a little confused. If i had a button styled a certain way, should I be saving this as a template or exporting it as a component for my library? If the answer is you could do either or both, what is the standard best practice?

I think templates are controlled individually and components if you edit one, you edit them all… is that correct?

Thanks for reaching out.
Yes, you are correct here. The Template you can include on your page and change it according to that specific page. Whereas, if you change anything in the Component, the change will be shown where it has been included.
