I do all my sites with PRO now and of course, I know I can make any design happen in the footer with Pro. I have a REALY big site that was designed ages ago in X (before Pro was an option)…
It has a 3 column footer. What I now need to do is make a new version of the footer… it will NOW have 2 rows of 3 columns with a single column row in between.
I have avoided moving this site to Pro as it’s very big and it will take a lot of checking to make sure everything has migrated across correctly when I do … but I think I will need to do it now to achieve this footer layout?
Just checking that there isn’t something else I have missed that would enable me to do this and keep the site in X?
(I even looked for a “Multiple Footers” type plugin that would allow extra footer elements to be added in WIDGETS but there is nothing I can see that does this. …).
NOTE - You might suggest I could make a Component and manually add it to the bottom of each page in Cornerstone, this would take ages because there are loads of pages and posts … I would maybe have considered this BUT it’s s not actually a viable option anyway because even though the POSTS do use cornerstone, they all have their own special footer above the standard footer (that is set in PHP)… so if I added a component in at the bottom of the cornerstone content, it would sit above the POST footer.
Just checking if there is anything I haven’t thought of here.
Tanks,
Kirstie
